The Dorion Seal, found while excavating a 17th century Spanish Franciscan mission on Amelia Island, Florida, is the only known artifact of this type in North America. The seal stamp was uncovered on land owned by Dr. and Mrs. George H. Dorion, and has never before been on public display. This rare artifact will be exhibited at HistoryMiami throughout 2013, along with other rare Spanish Florida artifacts.
